Hello!

I'm Shawnda Chisholm,

a passionate photographer

based in San Diego, CA

I am 36 year old mother of 4 kids.

For me, photography has never just been about smiling at a camera. It’s about freezing the little in-between moments the laughter, the chaos, the comfort, the connection.

The moments that feel small now but will mean everything years from now when your kids look back at them.

Tell those memories over & over again for generations.

My love for photography started at a young age, and I've dedicated myself to turning passing moments into lasting memories.

I specialize in bringing my clients' visions to life, creating a creative experience that ignites their imagination.

Whether it's a family portrait or a special event, my goal is to capture those precious, candid moments that often go unnoticed amidst the posed smiles.

Beyond my lens, I have a deep passion for helping others and a love for animals.

I volunteer as a coach for both softball & baseball where I get to combine my love for sports and mentoring young athletes. You can also find me getting dirty helping care

for horses, which is one of my other passions.

In my free time, you’ll find me dancing to music with my littles while cleaning my house, or exploring new places through travel, and cherishing moments spent with my family.

I’m proud to share that my work has been recognized in two magazines, and I've received several photography awards, affirming my commitment to my craft.
